Corporate training system for Executives: Decision options for HR managers in Russian companies

Abstract


The article considers major approaches to organizing and training top executives in Russian companies faced challenges from external changing environment. The necessity for discussing such issues is that nowadays many companies operating in emergent markets face high level of competitions from multinationals that challenge it to be in constant process of finding and retaining unique competitive advantages. Such advantages can be formed at different organizational levels especially at top management level by method of corporate training system. But some existing approaches can limit opportunities for team competencies and cooperation tools development. The article analyzes features of training system for executive teams and defines priorities in decision making process for HR professionals when organizing top management training systems. The work consists of theoretical concepts overview and based on empirical research of Russian companies.
