The Global Management Conference (GM Conference) is set by CISRO Institute of Management to foster and promote global management studies for sustainable economic development. The program committee of the GMconference consists of international scholars and practitioners. The main purposes of the Global Management Conference are to:
- Promote research pertaining to global management issues facing the full spectrum of organizations including: corporations, non-governmental organizations and not-for-profit organizations;
- Encourage the integration and exchange of knowledge among academics and professionals worldwide and
- Develop frameworks for a better understanding of the dynamics of globalization to facilitate the transfer of the knowledge and technologies aimed at sustainable development.
The annual GMconference venues will showcase emerging destinations offering attendees new first-hand experiences. Our premiere, the 2009 conference will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will focus on the Decision Making in a Changing Economic Environment. We welcome papers, planetary presentations, case studies, round table, panels, workshops, forums and organizing session proposals. Selected conference papers will be considered for publication in the Journal of Global Business Administration (JGBA)
We invite international scholars and institutional partners to join us in Rio de Janeiro and in our future conferences.
